The Academy of Equine Dentistry

The Academy of Equine Dentistry is a practitioners’ school owned and operated by equine dental practitioners located in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. Our goal is to help horses by teaching proper procedures of equine dentistry, thereby helping equestrians obtain top performance in their equine endeavors. Over the past twenty years our school has helped over 1,000 men and women define the art and science of equine dentistry giving them greater understanding of the horse’s general physical needs through care and maintenance of their dental needs. Equine dental equilibration and care is a specialized field based on the needs of horses, owners, riders and trainers. The life of equine teeth can be lengthened five to ten years through early and continued dental care and equilibration.

Two week dental classes are held quarterly in February, May, August and November. Anatomy and physiology classes are offered also. Two-day head & neck equine anatomy is offered prior to all dental courses. Five-day full body equine anatomy is offered annually after the August dental course.
