I am treating 3 shetlands one with severe slipper foot deformity and the other with some rotation, mild slipper foot and white line seperation, and the other that had a good hooves apart from being farrier trimmed and therefore had boxy club feet. I am also trying to work with a thoroughbred that has coon foot, dysmetry and wasting of off side hind leg and hoof deformity.

Have just become aware that my name and email address have been posted on this group, listed as being a trimmer. I am not a professional trimmer and I have never given permission for my name and/or contact details to be used in the context of a list of professional trimmers. I have no idea how they came to be posted on this thread.

To clarify the situation, I trim my own 6 horses/ponies and have been doing so for several years under the guidance of a qualified trimmer.

However, I am not a qualified hoof trimmer and although I am happy to chat through my own experiences of barefoot horses and trimming, I do not work as a trimmer and have never accepted any payment for trimming anyone else's horse.

I will contact the individual who posted my details and ask her to remove them.

I'm a barefoot trimmer, training with the American Association of Natural Hoofcare Practioners and working in Yorkshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester (not southern GM).

My trimming is completely non-invasive and I fit and supply hoofboots and other hoofcare products. I am happy to support owners in maintanence trimming and to work with vets on hoof problems. i am will also work on horses that find it difficult to have their feet trimmed.
