Welsh Cob part-bred Section D
Shantai is dark grey, and stands at 16.2hh. He is 11 y.o. born in June, 1995. Sire Cefngarn Medwyn, dam unknown, partbred welsh cob section D. General consensus is that Shantai looks like an Irish Draft.
Shantai is a very strong forward going horse, he will trot all day. He has completed a 25km endurance ride with no problems. My husband no longer rides and so Shantai is up for sale to somebody that will understand him and have fun with him.
He is ridden bitless and is barefoot, but he is sometimes ridden in front boots. He will only be sold to somebody that will understand him as he came to us with lots of problems. He is happiest riding out in the open countryside and having fun, but he does love jumping ditches etc, so in the right hands could be good for jumping.
